. SA516 Gr70 is a carbon steel plate for medium and low temperature pressure vessels and performs ASME standards. It is used to make reactors, heat exchangers, separators, spherical tanks, gas tanks, liquefied gas tanks, nuclear reactor pressure shells, boiler steam drums, liquefied petroleum gas cylinders, high-pressure water pipes for hydropower stations, water wheel volutes and other equipment and components.
SA516Gr70 steel plate meets the technical requirements for NACE-MR0175 oilfield equipment for anti-sulfide stress cracking metal materials and passes HIC+SSC test. The SA516 Gr70 meets the requirements of the (ASME) ASTM A516/A516M standard
and is designed to meet the high sulfur and hydrogen oil gas requirements, reduce sulfur and hydrogen corrosion, reduce equipment overhaul, and increase equipment life.
SA516 Gr70 has the characteristics of good impact resistance, small temperature deformation, good welding performance, good fatigue resistance, good layering resistance, microalloying, high purity, low carbon equivalent, and sulfur-resistant ability. Strong, the product has good dimensional tolerance and surface quality, and is currently available for steel plates up to 200mm thick.
